I had an amazing experience, as a first time client at Mahalla Wild, the most gorgeous, stunning, posh, luxe hair salon, that I have ever been to!! I drove from where I live, in Tampa, and from the moment you walk in, everyone is so friendly, and the first time I met the owner, Alyssa, she was so welcoming, you can tell that she has a passion for being an entrepreneur and a savvy business owner and she exudes positivity!! I feel like it’s not a staff but more of a family and they welcome you with open arms and I was so thrilled that I was able to get an appointment for a full service visit, haircut, color, gloss, blowout, and the results far surpassed my expectations!! Madison, (Maddie), was so professional, and she is the quintessential woman who truly listens to the clients needs and expectations, and I truly appreciated her recommendations and from start to finish, she was absolutely perfect 🤌!!! I love the aesthetics of the hair salon, the intricate details from this stylish motif, the attention to detail from the softest robes to the best hair care products, my nice hot cup of coffee, very chill, relax vibes… I didn’t feel rushed or overwhelmed… Maddie did a phenomenal job with my haircut, hair color, and the blowout was phenomenal!!! Maddie, you have a heart of Gold!! Thanks for the laughs!! ❤️‍🔥🤩 They carry all the hair products I love, especially, Oribe!! It truly felt like a hair spa experience! I highly recommend everyone to get their hair done here, I am willing to drive all the way from Tampa to come here and this will be my forever salon unless Alyssa expands in the Tampa bay area!!! Speaking of expansion, I’m excited that the hair salon is growing and expanding to a larger space, additionally, to see the new developments, and I know it will be elevated to the next level!!! Love this place! I went to Derek the Salon and had such an impersonal and expensive experience. I will not go back. Based on a recommendation from a friend, I came here and loved it! Every girl is so sweet, personable and talented! They always get you in and are so accommodating. Not to mention the store itself is beautiful! I will only go to this salon moving forward!!

CAUTION: This was my third visit to the salon and had previously had a good experience. Unfortunately this time I felt the salon tacked on lots of "Extra" and non disclosed fees to my coloring. I had booked to have my hair lighted and the colorist ended up charging me almost $400. She made a mistake and charged an extra $50 to blend, extra fee for "house color" and then an additional fee to my blow out for using a curling iron. Be very aware of what they are charging, she should have disclosed all fees.

They were vague about pricing prior to my appointment. In the end getting a lived in blonde and trim cost me $500 with Gabby - which is INSANELY overpriced - I have naturally blonde hair that is above my shoulder. (I do not have that much hair to work with!) I have NEVER heard of anyone spending that much of money, for that service. No. I was shocked by how expensive my total was when it came time for check out. I will not go back here. Gabby was friendly and did a beautiful job with my hair. However, $500 for what I got done is ridiculous. Never again.

I'm absolutely in love with my cut and color from Gaby!! I would recommend her over anyone I've gone to in Sarasota...or anywhere else for that matter. Everyone at this salon is so friendly and welcoming, the music is great, and I appreciated the wine (lol). I also went back and had my hair curled by Kaylee and she did a phenomenal job!
